Anti interference coil VS Cancel mode

Hello guys I bought a 11 A.I coiltek coil for an area with huge Emi... i tested it in air and the difference on depth VS the cancel mode with the 11dd stock coil is around on 3 or 4 inches on a big target (vittorio emanuele II 10 cent copper 10grams and 3 centimeters of diameter) so i think is a lot less with a smaller target.. So the question is.. why spent around 250$ for a coil with the same performance of using the stock dd coil with cancel mode?

I'm not really happy with this.. I knew I would lose a bit of depth vs a standard 11" dd coil but i though it would have gone deeper then the cancel mode :(

Haven't used an AI coil but have been to the WA salt flats. From what others have said, anything's better than cancel mode. Air tests mean nothing, absolutely nothing, they're not even an indicator of any kind. If I were you, I'd buy the very old, goldsearch 11" mono coil.
